What data TravCrew keeps, why, who sees it and how you delete it.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
The short version
- We only keep what TravCrew needs to work.
- We never ask for your Travian password and we never read the game.
- No ads, no visitor statistics and no tracking. We do not sell your data.
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy: TravCrew never sees your card.
- You can see, correct or delete your data, with the rights your country's law gives you. Delete your account any time in My settings.
The summary helps you understand; the full text below is what counts.
Who is responsible
TravCrew is made and run by Santiago Alonso (CheWeb, Argentina, cheweb.com.ar). He is responsible for your data (in Europe, the "controller").
Write to us at: support@travcrew.com
You can also write from "Feedback", in your user menu.
What data we keep
- Your account: your name on TravCrew, your email and your encrypted password (nobody can read it, not even us). If you sign in with Google or Discord, the number that identifies that account and the email they give us; from Discord, also your picture. When you signed up and when you last signed in.
- Your settings: language, time zone, sounds, alerts and the rest of My settings. If you fill them in, your profile for the alliance and when you are online.
- What you paste or type from the game: troops, smithy, rally point, reports, farm lists, villages, schedules and instructions for your sitter.
- What you do with your alliance: the game accounts you choose, your rank, your answers to calls and orders, your votes, your chat messages, pushes and fakes.
- Your alarms. If you turn on alerts with TravCrew closed, the address your browser gives us to send them.
- What you send us: suggestions, pastes so we can fix a bug, and "Cancel a purchase" requests (without an account, with the email you leave so we can reply).
- Payments: what you bought, whether it is still active and until when. We do not keep your card, your address, or the name or email you type when paying.
- Security: a code (hash) of your IP address for 10 minutes, to stop people who try passwords.
What we never do
- We never ask for or keep your Travian password.
- We never read the game: no extensions, bots or programs that go into Travian. We only use what you paste and the public map of the server.
- There are no ads and no visitor statistics (like Google Analytics), and we do not follow you on other sites.
- We do not sell, rent or give away your data.
- We do not send you advertising emails. Only emails to confirm your email or change your password.
Public game data
Each Travian server publishes, once a day, a public file with the map: villages, players, alliances and population. TravCrew downloads it and uses it for the map, statistics and watch list. That data is already public in the game.
What we use it for
- So you can sign in and your account is only yours.
- So your alliance sees what you share and can coordinate.
- To ring your alarms and send you alerts.
- To do the maths (travel, combat, times).
- To give you Premium if you paid for it or got it as a gift.
- To fix bugs and keep things secure.
Why we may use it (legal bases)
Each use has its legal reason. That is how the European GDPR (article 6) and similar laws, like Brazil's LGPD and Turkey's KVKK, put it:
- Contract: we need it to give you the service you asked for (your account, your alliance, your alarms, Premium).
- Legitimate interest: keeping things secure, stopping abuse, fixing bugs and using the game's public map.
- Your consent: browser notifications. You can withdraw it any time.
- Legal obligation: answering your requests (for example, a purchase cancellation) and what tax and consumer laws require.
Who sees your data
- Your alliance: members see what you share according to their rank and permissions (for example troops, schedules, answers and commitment). Someone from another alliance or who is not verified sees nothing of your alliance.
- Links you share: sitter instructions or a defence call shared by link can be seen by anyone with the link, until it expires or you cancel it.
- Discord: if a Leader connects the alliance Discord channel, TravCrew posts notices there (ops, calls, attacks) with player and village names. On Discord, Discord's rules apply.
- Santi, the developer: he can look at the database to fix bugs, and he reads the suggestions and pastes you send him.
- The services we use, only for their part: Hostinger (the servers), Google and Discord (if you sign in with them), Lemon Squeezy (payments) and your browser's push service (Google, Mozilla or Apple) if you turn on alerts with TravCrew closed; that message is encrypted.
Nobody else, unless a law or a court forces us.
Where it is and how we protect it
Your data is on Hostinger servers, which may be in a different country from yours. The connection is encrypted (https), passwords and email links are stored encrypted, and each alliance only sees its own data.
Data that travels to another country: TravCrew is run from Argentina, which the European Commission recognizes as having an adequate level of protection. Hostinger, Lemon Squeezy, Google and Discord may store data in the United States or other countries; when data leaves Europe, this is done with the mechanisms the law requires (adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
- Your account and your data: as long as you have your account.
- Your session: 90 days, or until you sign out.
- Email links: 7 days to confirm your email, 1 hour to change your password.
- Bell notifications: 30 days.
- The code of your IP: 10 minutes.
- That a game account already used the free Premium trial: forever, without your name or email (so that account does not get another trial, even if you delete yours).
- "Cancel a purchase" requests: as long as there can be a claim about that purchase.
- The hosting's backups may keep deleted data a little longer, until they are replaced.
- Lemon Squeezy keeps payment data as long as the law requires (for example, for taxes).
How to delete your account
In My settings, "Delete my account", typing DELETE. Your account and everything that is yours is deleted: settings, sessions, alarms, schedules, reports, messages, votes, your troops and the rest.
- If you own an alliance, first hand it over to another Leader.
- What you set up for the alliance (ops, calls, polls, fake lists) may stay with the alliance. The troops of a game account that another person also uses (a dual) stay for that person.
- If you have a subscription that renews, first cancel it in "Manage", in Premium: until then the account cannot be deleted (TravCrew cannot cancel it for you).
- We only keep that the game account already used the free trial (without your name or email), and any purchase cancellation requests you made, without your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what data of yours we have.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Give you a copy to take with you.
- Stop using it for something, or use it less.
- Withdraw your consent (for example, for browser notifications or statistics) whenever you want.
Write to us and we will answer within 30 days at most (sooner if your country's law asks for less). It is free. If you do not like the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country (below, by country).

Depending on where you live
Several countries' laws give you similar rights. In short:
- European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR and UK GDPR): access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawing consent. You can complain to the data protection authority of your country (in the UK, the ICO). Controller: Santiago Alonso (CheWeb), Argentina, at the contact email.
- Brazil (LGPD, article 18): confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, knowing who we share it with, and withdrawing consent. You can complain to the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados).
- Argentina (Law 25,326): free access every 6 months, correction, update and deletion (we answer access within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion within 5 business days).
- Turkey (KVKK, article 11): know whether and why we process your data, who it is passed to, ask for correction or deletion, object to a result against you that comes only from automated processing, and ask for compensation for damage. Write to us first; if you are not satisfied, you can go to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
- United States and California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share your personal information (not for advertising either), and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. You can ask to know what data we have, correct it and delete it, also through an authorized agent; we answer within 45 days at most and never treat you differently for asking.
The owner of personal data has the right to access it free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as set out in article 14, paragraph 3 of Argentine Law No. 25,326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information), as the supervisory authority of Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the personal data protection rules in force.
Minimum age
TravCrew is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (in the US, the COPPA law requires this). If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and are under 16, you need permission from your parent or guardian (or the lower age your country's law sets). If we learn that someone underage uses it without permission, we delete their account.
Cookies
TravCrew only uses the cookies it needs to work. There are no advertising or statistics cookies.
Changes
If we change something important, we will tell you in TravCrew first. The date at the top says when it last changed.
